  Went to Gold Link in hopes to spend money locally. Visited the store so I could let the staff know what I liked when my fiance came in to look at engagement rings. They failed to write my likes and dislikes down, stating that they "knew" what I liked. Through no fault of his own, my fiance purchased exactly what I told the staff I did not want. When I attempted to change the wedding band for something that would work more appropriately with my occupation, I was told there was nothing they could do, and I would have to purchase an additional band if I felt it was necessary. After weeks of attempting to trade the band with the manager, i asked to speak to the owner. The owner allowed me to trade, but charged $200 more on top of the trade in. I just learned that new wedding band we traded for appraised for less than half of the value of the wedding band my fiance originally purchased. We lost over $1,000 on that trade. Will never return to Gold Link & Diamond Centre, and will tell everyone I know to choose another jewelry store.
